Pegasus is looking for Shuttle Drivers to work in Anchorage, AK. The Shuttle Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of airline crew members between aircraft, airport facilities, and designated hotel locations. Drivers must follow airport security rules, company procedures, and provide exceptional customer service.\nTo join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!\nResponsibilities\n\u2022 Safely operate 15-passenger vans on scheduled or on-call routes between the airport, hotels, and other authorized locations.\n\u2022 Adjust pickup/drop-off timing in coordination with dispatch and flight schedule updates.\n\u2022 Maintain communication with dispatch via radio or phone regarding assignments and routing.\n\u2022 Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts; promptly report safety or mechanical issues.\n\u2022 Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for service.\n\u2022 Load and unload luggage, including items up to 70 pounds.\n\u2022 Greet crew members professionally and assist with boarding as needed.\n\u2022 Record trip details such as passenger counts, mileage, and times, using company logs.\n\u2022 Follow airport driving rules, ramp access procedures, and internal safety policies.\n\u2022 Stay reachable during shifts to support dispatch coordination.\n\u2022 Communicate any delays, road conditions, or hazards to dispatch and other drivers.\n\u2022 Perform other duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager or Dispatcher.\nQualifications\n\u2022 Must be at least 18 years of age\n\u2022 Valid Alaska state driver\u2019s license; must meet insurability standards.\n\u2022 High school diploma or GED equivalent.\n\u2022 Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.\n\u2022 Able to obtain and maintain airport security clearance and ramp driving privileges.\n\u2022 Must pass a criminal background check, fingerprinting, and pre-employment drug screen as required for airport access.\n\u2022 Able to lift and carry items up to 70 pounds without assistance.\n\u2022 Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, heat).\n\u2022 Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).\n\u2022 Willing and able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts.\n\u2022 Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently under pressure.\n\u2022 Basic proficiency in communication tools (radio, text/email, dispatch systems).\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\u2022 1\u20132 years of recent driving experience in a shuttle, hospitality, or customer service environment.\n\u2022 Familiarity with airport layouts and local Anchorage roads is beneficial.\n\u2022 Experience driving in snow or icy conditions is a plus.\n\u2022 CDL Preferred\nKey Competencies:\n\u2022 Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.\n\u2022 Composed and courteous in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.\n\u2022 Strong attention to safety, detail, and schedule adherence.\n\u2022 Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.\n\u2022 Self-motivated with a team-first attitude.\nPhysical Requirements:\n\u2022 Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb in and out of vehicles throughout the shift.\n\u2022 Must be able to lift/move objects up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.\n\u2022 Visual and auditory ability required to safely operate a vehicle and communicate effectively.\n\u2022 Regular exposure to weather conditions including cold, heat, snow, and rain.\nWork Conditions:\n\u2022 Non-exempt hourly position; eligible for overtime per company and federal guidelines.\n\u2022 Shift schedules vary and may include holidays, evenings, weekends, and split shifts.\n\u2022 Uniforms may be provided and must be worn while on duty.\n\u2022 Work is primarily conducted outdoors and around airport activity zones.\n\u2022 May be exposed to moderate to high noise levels (hearing protection available when needed).\nLanguage and Math Skills:\n\u2022 Able to read and interpret flight schedules, safety protocols, and written instructions.\n\u2022 Able to complete trip reports and basic logs using whole numbers and time formats.\nReasoning Ability:\n\u2022 Apply sound judgment to resolve scheduling, routing, or service issues.\n\u2022 Adapt quickly to changing flight schedules, road conditions, or unexpected service needs.\nJob ID\n2025-20101\nWork Type\nOn-Site\nCompany Description\nWork Where it Matters\nPegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, is not just another aviation contractor.
